Smith, Lisa King

Lisa King Smith, 39, of Ooltewah, died on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.

She was native of South Pittsburg, Tn., having graduated in 1989 from South Pittsburg High School.

She was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was employed by Chattanooga Shooting Supply. She had attended Lookout Valley Baptist Church.

Lisa was a dedicated mother to her three children who were her pride and joy. She enjoyed planting flowers and taking care of her flower garden and plants and spent her leisure time working in her yard and maintaining her home.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Mae King.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Smith; father, Albert King, South Pittsburg; two daughters, Sarah and Katie Durham and her son, Taylor Smith, all of Ooltewah; brothers, Randy (Terry Lynn) King, Flat Rock, Al., Jerry Don (Carol) King and Alvin “Bobo” (Donna) King; and her sister, Renee King, all of South Pittsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. CST on Sunday, Nov. 8, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tony L. DeYoung officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. CST on Saturday, Nov. 7, and one hour prior to the service on Sunday, Nov. 8.
