Church Ladies Think Pink posted November 6, 2009 To help raise awareness of the need for early detection of breast cancer, Volunteer State Health Plan (VSHP) has partnered with the Mother’s Ministry at Olivet Baptist Church to sponsor Church Ladies Think Pink, a free breast cancer awareness event on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The event will be at Waterhouse Pavilion at Miller Plaza. The event will feature mammograms, blood pressure, glucose and BMI screenings. Breast cancer survivors will give testimonals. Music will be provided by D.J. Bell with performances by local vocalists.
