Memorial Health Care System Celebrates Topping Off At Ooltewah Location posted November 6, 2009
Those in attendance signed a steel beam that was then raised to the highest point of the 25,000 square-foot facility, scheduled for completion by June 2010. The symbolic topping off ceremony included a small evergreen tree and an American flag representing reverence for life and our freedoms. The investment of more than $19 million demonstrates Memorial’s commitment to providing quality faith-based health care to the expanding Ooltewah area. “This is an exciting day for Memorial, for Ooltewah, and for Chattanooga, and I’m happy to be part of it,” said Charles L. Arant, board chair, Memorial Health Care System. “The timing is great for Memorial to expand to this rapidly growing area.” “Memorial Ooltewah allows us to bring advanced imaging services to the Ooltewah area to meet the needs of physicians and residents,” said James M. Hobson, President and CEO of Memorial Health Care System. “It will include another location of the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center and physician offices where our physicians in Memorial Health Partners will be able to provide quality medical care for the families who live and work in Ooltewah and the surrounding areas.” |
