Visioning Meeting For Local Film Production Set For Nov. 12
posted November 5, 2009

The Association for the Future of Film & Television will host a community visioning meeting regarding building film production and support in Southeast Tennessee and Chattanooga on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m.

The meeting will be held at the 7th floor auditorium, EPB Building.

The event is being held to prioritize and guide combined efforts to grow the film culture in Chattanooga.

This will be an audience participation event facilitated by Eleanor Cooper, who has been involved in Chattanooga's city-wide visioning efforts of the last 25 years.

The event will be open to the public and film lovers, students and film/TV
professionals are encouraged to attend.

The key question of the evening that will guide the visioning process will be "What can we do to grow and sustain a viable film culture in Chattanooga?" As part of the visioning process, everyone who attends will be allowed to contribute his/her thoughts in answering this question.

During the evening, participants will break down into smaller working groups and by the end of the evening, a list of priorities will evolve out of the process.
