Valvoline Racing to Excellence in Education revs up a celebration event at Chattanooga Market on Sunday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the First Tennessee Pavilion. In partnership with the City of Chattanooga Department of Education, Arts & Culture and its Unbroken youth initiative—VREE is a media-driven campaign highlighting safe driving at its core and using racing as a metaphor for kids getting ahead in education.
Participating partners in the VREE Celebration Event at Chattanooga Market include city of Chattanooga Fire Department, Parks and Recreation Department, Police Department and Beat the Heat Team, and Traffic Engineering, Tennessee State Meth Task Force, Tire Rack Street Survival School and Whitfield Oil Company.
Media partners include Be Communications LLC, Chattanooga Teen Scene magazine, ENIGMA magazine, Speak Out with Missy Crutchfield on WUUQ Radio 97.3/99.3 FM, Valvoline Racing Radio on Rock 105 and Valvoline Racing Tonight on Fox61 television.
There will be the city of Chattanooga Police Department Beat the Heat Drag Racing Team, a fire engine from the city of Chattanooga Fire Department, Tire Rack Street Survival School Race Cars, BMW of Chattanooga cars, and the Meth Task Force Mobile Meth Unit.
At 1:30 p.m. EAC will announce from the Chattanooga Market stage the VREE Winners Circle students who wrote winning essays in the Valvoine Racing to Excellence in Education Essay Contest.
