Education, Arts & Culture is partnering with Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts, the middle and high creative arts magnet school in Hamilton County. CCA's Middle School was recently named top middle school in Hamilton County.
Through connecting students with traveling performances and Broadway shows at Memorial Auditorium and Tivoli Theatre, and bringing creative lab experiences to students through arts and media partnerships, they are leveraging opportunities that benefit CCA students and the whole community and celebrate the importance of arts in education.
An International Taste Testing will be held Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. in the CCA Commons for High School Model UN. Tickets are $5 at the door. Each ticket is good for five ample samples of international dishes plus a beverage.
This event will be held immediately before the Advanced Instrumental Ensembles Concert in the Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
Families can earn volunteer hours by donating food for this event. To bring an international dish or drink to share, contact Mrs. Malone at malone_s@hcde.org or call 209-5952.
A CCA Community Open House is set for Friday from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Participants will visit classes, rehearsals and exhibits.
There will be a complimentary lunch from noon-1 p.m. To make a reservation call 209-5942.
