There will be a town hall meeting on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church on East Brainerd Road, next to Brainerd Hills Shopping Center, about the flooding problems.
This is a meeting for those whose property has flooded from South Chickamauga Creek. It may be of interest to others who work along East Brainerd Road, Lee Highway and Brainerd Road near the Creek.
Several businesses were flooded and some could not open due to the recent flooding.
The public is invited to come and share their experiences, suggestions and any other information that will help the local governments solve this problem. This is not a place to vent anger or frustrations, but will focus on finding out problems and solutions.
