A 27-year-old Whitwell woman was found beaten to death in her trailer home just after midnight.
The victim was identified as Brandi Dawn Duba.
Authorities are seeking to find her boyfriend, Michael J. Shirley, for questioning.
Ms. Duba's vehicle was found on its top and burning on Ketner's Mill Road about a mile from her home.
Then a neighbor discovered her body at 142 Cheri Circle near where her children, ages four and six, were sleeping.
Authorities said Shirley recently got out of jail after serving time for vehicular assault.
He has a large swastika tattoo on his back.
