Walker County EMT, Fireman Caught In Child Sex Sting

A Walker County EMT and fireman has been caught in a sting by the Northwest Georgia Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Rocky Davis Jr., 21, was arrested on Friday on state charges related to attempting to solicit a minor child for sex.

The FBI said Davis traveled to Catoosa County after having engaged undercover officers/agents of the FBI’s Northwest Georgia Crimes Against Children Task Force in a series of chats on the Internet.

Davis is currently incarcerated at the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Department jail.

he Northwest Georgia Crimes Against Children Task Force consists of federal agents from the FBI and officers from the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office, the Dalton Police Department, the Dade County Sheriff’s Office, the Rossville Police Department and the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office.
