Middle East Lecture Series Presents “A Look At Egypt” by Erin Weeks, Lee University posted November 3, 2009 Lee University will present “A Look at Egypt,” the second part of the Middle East Lecture Series, on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. The event will take place in the Rose Lecture Hall. Dr. David Holt will be the special guest and moderator. Dr. Holt is the director of the Middle East Studies Center in Cairo, Egypt with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. Three Lee University professors will also be featured: Dr. Caroline Boulis, assistant professor of mathematics and a native of Egypt, Dr. Richard Jones, professor of anthropology and Fulbright scholar to Egypt and Dr. Edley Moodley, director of the Intercultural Studies Program. Those who attend are encouraged to come dressed as an Egyptian for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate. Egyptian food will be served. “A Look at Egypt” is promoted by Lee University’s Office of Academic Affairs, School of Religion and the Department of History and Political Science.
