Walker County Sheriff Wilson In Cancer Fight posted November 3, 2009 Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson has begun treatment for a form of cancer. Sheriff Wilson said on his Facebook page that he has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. He said he took his first dose of chemotherapy on Monday. Sheriff Wilson, 52, won re-election last year. During his tenure, Walker County has often been in the news, including the uncremated bodies found at the Tri-State Crematory and the Sam Parker murder case. |
