Christene Turner, 88, died on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Carl Douglas Turner; and a daughter, Vickie Marie Miller.
Surviving are her son, Jerry (Terri) Johnson of Ringgold, Ga.; daughters, Janet Bailey of Greenville, Il., Linda (David) King, of Granite City, Il., Sue Davis of Camdenton, Mo., Gloria (Hyland) McCarty of Rossville; three sisters; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home, with Rev. Matt Hall officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Memorial donations may be made to Hutcheson Hospice.
