Jimmie Ruth DeVaney, 63, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, June 4, 2009. She was born Nov. 15, 1945.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd DeVaney; sister, Lisa Ford Denham; stepmother, Lois Ford; mother-in-law, Iola Lewis; brother-in-law, David DeVaney; sister-in-law, Carolyn DeVaney; uncle, Clyde Housley; aunt, Daisy Housley; cousins, Sonny Housley, Judy Franks, Alymas Ford, Marrin Ford, Barbara Malone, Nancy McGinnis, Arthur Ford, Shirley Rullenburg, Shelba Fuller, Bryan Ford and George Ford; nephews, Brad and Tim DeVaney.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Yother officiating.
