The Harrison Ruritan Club will host its second chili cook-off from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Harrison Ruritan clubhouse, which is next to Harrison Elementary School, Hwy. 58, at Tyner Lane.
Organizers said, "Over 20 club members will be entering the contest with special recipes in an effort to win trophies. Competition will be fierce."
Admission to enjoy these culinary delights will be $5.
Proceeds from Harrison Ruritan fundraisers are invested in the community by scholarships to graduating seniors, assisting the needy, toys for the fire department's toy drive, donations to the food bank, donations to Harrison Bay "Friends of the Park," awards to local elementary school students based on good character, sponsoring youth to Freedom's Foundation, donations to area recreational leagues, etc.
