Detoxification and Autism, by Dr. Charles Adams of Full Circle Medical Center, will cover autism as well as a myriad of other issues including high blood pressure, poor memory, anger management, irritable bowel, and swine flu.
To compliment this discussion, Lisa DuPree of Mother’s Moving Mountains Autism Support Group, will discuss A Personal View of Autism: A Journey of Hope.
Organizers said, "This will be an inspirational account of Lisa’s own experiences and offers hope to those in similar situations."
According to Dr. Mark Hyman, "Ten years ago three children in 10,000 were diagnosed as autistic; in 2007, the Centers for Disease Control reports one in 150 American eight-year olds were affected by autism—clearly an exponential increase over just the past decade!"
In response to this growing menace, CHEO is sponsoring two timely and informative presentations on July 19, from 2–4 p.m.
