In an effort to sell the remaining 2,500 tickets, organizers have decided to open the St. Jude Dream Home house for one final week of free tours.
The home built by Pratt & Associates in the Frontgate community of Ooltewah is valued at approximately $310,000. It will be open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Everyone who visits the house has the opportunity to reserve a $100 ticket to win the Dream Home house and also to register free for a chance to win $5,000 worth of furniture from Walker’s Oak & More Furniture, Inc.
One in every 500 entrants will win a prize, all valued at $1,000 or more. Some of this year’s secondary prizes include a $7,000 Tonga spa courtesy of Rec Warehouse, $1,000 Best Buy gift card, a $1,000 gift certificate to Holcomb Garden Center, a $1,000 Target gift card courtesy of Jody Millard Pest Control, a $1,000 Lowe’s gift card, $1,000 in goods and services from Chattanooga Closet Company, $1,000 in goods and services from A Better You Salon & Day Spa and many more.
This year’s grand prize, the Dream Home house, is valued at approximately $310,000 and features five bedrooms, four baths, a designer kitchen with breakfast nook, an oversized master suite and master bath. Construction of the St. Jude Dream Home house is coordinated by Pratt & Associates with the support of local and national contractors and suppliers including JHP Contracting, ProBuild and USA Ready Mix.
Beth White, mother of St. Jude patient Jack White and co-chair of the campaign said, “By all accounts, Pratt and Associates, along with their suppliers and subcontractors, has gone above and beyond our expectations in building this year’s home. The open floor plan, top-of-the-line materials, and attention to detail make this house a true dream home. If you have not come out to see this home, you should definitely visit this week.”
