Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) released the following statement in reaction to press reports that Georgia has re-elected Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA).
“Georgians should be very proud that Sen. Chambliss will continue to represent them in the U.S. Senate,” said Corker.
“Saxby is a practical consensus builder who has demonstrated time and time again a commitment to reaching across the aisle to get things done for his state and our country. He is a respected colleague and a friend, and I know he will be an integral part of the 111th Congress.”
