Downtown streets will sparkle during the Holiday Starlight Parade on Saturday.
The 2008 Holiday Starlight Parade will proceed from Miller Park up Market Street to the Tennessee Aquarium beginning at 6 p.m.
This event is produced by the Chattanooga Downtown Partnership and City of Chattanooga Parks and Recreation. It has been recognized as Chattanooga's largest evening holiday parade for the past 12 years. With a succession of unique holiday entries, this event is known for its yuletide theme featuring performing groups, marching bands, vehicles and floats all strung in twinkling lights.
WRCB Channel 3 will televise the Holiday Starlight Parade at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13.
Winter Days & Lights is a series of events presented by the Chattanooga Downtown Partnership to bring crowds to Downtown Chattanooga during the holiday season. Following the Holiday Starlight Parade will be the final event in the Winter Days & Lights Series, Appalachian Christmas, on Friday, Dec. 12.
