Berry, Millie Lucille Miller (Jasper) posted October 13, 2008 Millie Lucille Miller Berry, 87, of Jasper, died Sunday, October 13, 2008 at her home. The daughter of the late George Thomas Miller, Sr. and Anna Harriet Gayle Miller, she was a sewing machine operator at Signal Knitting Mill for 32 years and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Jasper. She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Fay Kirk of Jasper; her sisters, Maggie Wilborn of Chattanooga, Mary Lois Lawhorne and Marie Wallingsford both of Scottsboro, Ala.; four grandchildren, Lynn (Brian) Dietz, Tammie (Daniel) Bailey, Jason (Crystal) Kirk and Jeff (Lisa) Kirk; and five great-grandchildren, Sean & Megan Kirk, Evan & Casey Kirk and Kirk Silas Bailey. She was preceded in death by four brothers, John H. Miller, George T. Miller, Jr., Eugene Miller and Billy Miller. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 5 – 9 p.m. at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Wednesday, at 2 p.m. CDT with Rev. Dennis Eggert officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper. |
