Terry Donald “Donny” Greene, 62, of Lyerly, Ga. died Friday, September 5, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Greene was born June 9, 1946 in Trion, Ga., the son of the late Joe Terry and Annie Gwin Crider Greene. Mr. Greene was a self employed mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd Greene, Leonard Greene, Scot Lee Greene, and Russell Greene; and a sister, Alice Marie Thomas.
Mr. Greene is survived by his son, Terry Donald Greene Jr., Trion, Ga.; daughter Lynn Greene, Henderson, Tx.; Fiance, Angela Scherry Parker; brother, Wayne Greene, Lyerly, Ga.; sisters, Eula Story, Summerville, Ga., Barbara Ann Harris, Trion, Ga., and Elaine Jackson, Rome, Ga.; four grandchildren, Justin Greene, Hanna Greene, Conner Vines, and Brittani White Vines.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Sumner and Rev. Vernon Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Russell Greene, Chris Greene, Jeff Greene, Michael Greene, Anthony Greene, Gregory Greene, and Leonard Greene.
Mr. Greene will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
