Wanda C. Schmidt, 86, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at her home.
Mrs. Schmidt was born in Charleston, Tn., to Arthur and Cecil Clemenson, and was retired after 50 years as a bookkeeper for Currey Contracting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig Schmidt Sr.; her parents; sisters, Frances Gomaz and Betty Currey; and brother, Bob Clemenson.
Surviving are her son, Craig (Angie) Schmidt; stepson, Phillip (Joan) Schmidt; grandchildren, Cassie (Jason) Cordell, Tyson Schmidt, and Jill and Bo Bowling; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 S. Moore Road.
