Victor Deun Brooks, 27, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008.
He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a member of Greater New Home Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Walker; children, LaDarrius, Jada and Janiah Brooks; mother, Tanza Brooks, all of Chattanooga; father, John H. Hughley, of Camphill, Al.; sisters, (twin) Victoria and Angel Brooks; brothers, Marvin Turner and Jerry Hughley, all of Chattanooga; grandmothers, Vivian Brooks McCaleb, of Chattanooga and Sarah Elaster, of Camphill, Al.; aunts, Dorothy (Billy) McKenzie, Linda Brooks, Debra (Larry) Daniels, Mary Colvin and Ray Landrum; uncles, Kenneth Brooks, William McCaleb and James Hughley; two nieces, Nadia and Trinity Brooks, all of Chattanooga; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Williams officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Family hour will be on Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
