Willard W. Hall, 91, of Dalton, died on Saturday, August 16, 2008.

He was born February 22, 1917 in Murray Co., son of the late, Isaac and Julie Greeson Hall and was preceded in death by his brothers, Knight Hall and Hugh Don Hall; and sisters, Mossie Hall, Ollie Causby and Jessie Hall.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in Europe and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he was a deacon.

Willard is survived by his loving wife, Felcia Edwards Hall of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John Chafin of Dalton; grandson and wife, Chris and Christy Parker of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Christen Parker, Christiana Parker and Chrisaren Parker; special friend, Jack White of Dalton; nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Dr. Larry Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 855 Abutment Rd., Suite 6, Dalton, Ga. 30721. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.lovefuneralhomega.com. Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton ( across from Hamilton Medical Center) is in charge of arrangements.
