James "Jim" Cross, 82, died at his residence on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 59 years, Bessie Mae Scott Cross; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Bob Diggs, Coleen Silvey, Beth and Randy Jones; son, Scott Cross, all of LaFayette; sisters, Juanita Ennis, Clayton, Renda Byrd, LaFayette; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home with the Rev. Lowell Cantrell officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Cemetery.
Visitation will be all day on Monday.
