He was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church and a USAF veteran having served from 1959 until 1963. Donald was the owner of Reed’s Painting Co. since 1970.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Margaret; sons, Jeffrey Reed and Scottie Reed, both of Chattanooga; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Reed Kammer and SSGT Frank B. Kammer Jr. USMC of Jacksonville, N.C.; grandchildren, Shea Reed Thurman of Killeen, Tx., Brittni Reed and Logan Reed, both of Chattanooga, Brandon Kammer and Erin Kammer, both of Jacksonville, N.C., Jessie Reed of Chattanooga; great-grandchild, McKenna Thurman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, at Heritage Chapel, with Rev. Rick Markum officiating.
