Alisa Michelle Tisdale-Troxell, 44, formerly of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, in Virginia Beach, Va.
She is survived by her son, Elijah Troxell; parents, Harold and Julia Tisdale, of Chattanooga; one sister, Kimberly (Charles) Tisdale-Vakos, of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Reginald (Linda) Tisdale, Michael (Kimberly) Tisdale and Terry (Jennifer) Tisdale, all of Chattanooga; boyfriend, Juan Pablo Lopez, of Virginia Beach; several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins in Tennessee and Virginia.
Alisa was a loving mother, sister and friend. She was loved by many for her wonderful sense of humor. Even at her hardest point she was in good spirits. We rejoice in having her join our Lord and Savior.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Adamson officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
Her body will lie in state on Friday after noon at the funeral home.
