Ernestine Queen, 77, of Cleveland, died on Monday, August 4, 2008, in a local health care facility.
She was a member of Faith Memorial Church. She was the site coordinator for 20 years for the Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Velma Haddick Scoggins; two sons, Kenneth Queen and Gary Queen; brother, Charles Scoggins, Jr.; sister, Virginia Goins.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Hoyt H. Queen, Cleveland; loving daughter and son in law, Vicki and Dennis Grizzle, Cleveland; two sisters, Billie Gladson and Wanda Bullard, both of Cleveland; one precious grandson, Matthew Grizzle; Cleveland; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, at 10 a.m. at Ft. Hill Cemetery with Steve Hartline officiating. The procession to the cemetery will begin at Grissom Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m. A memorial service will be held Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at Faith Memorial Church.
