Verizon Wireless announced a new evolution communications retail location designed to offer customers a high-tech and hands-on experience with wireless voice, data, music and video services.
The new store, located at 8880 Old Lee Highway (between Zaxby's and Cracker Barrel restaurants) in Ooltewah, Tennessee, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce on Aug. 1 at 10 a.m.
In an effort to recognize the company's strong commitment to help end domestic violence in the community, Verizon Wireless donated $1,000 from the company's HopeLine program to the Partnership for Families, Children and Adults during a check presentation, held in conjunction with the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
To celebrate Verizon Wireless' new retail location, the store also host 'Free Phone Days' on Aug. 1-3, where customers who purchased a phone valued at $49.99 or less (with a two-year contract on a new line with a calling plan of $39.99 or higher) received the phone for free (after a $50.00 mail-in rebate).
Throughout August, new customers will receive waived activation fee with annual agreements. Existing customers can receive 25% off select accessories. Customers visiting the store Aug. 1-31 can enter to win a Nintendo Wii Game System (retail value $249.99). The drawing will take place on Sept. 1 – entrants need not be present to win.
The new Ooltewah store features a full range of Verizon Wireless products and services and is fully staffed for customer service and technical support, allowing customers to speak with Verizon Wireless' highly trained representatives about all of their wireless needs. The new store also features:
· A dedicated demo zone where customers can use interactive touch screens or be guided by our product savvy sales staff.
· More than 55 working models of handsets, PC cards and other devices for customers to try.
· A greeter kiosk that allows customers to check in once they enter the store and list their wireless needs, so representative can quickly assist them.
· A Bill Payment Kiosk that allows customers to make account payments quickly and easily using checks, cash or credit/debit cards.
· Customer Service and Technical Support departments, making it easy for customers to obtain account information, customer service and address technical issues from trained in-store staff.
Store hours for the new Ooltewah store are Monday – Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
