He was a retired inspector from Maytag. He also worked for Mike Brown at Farm Fresh Produce in Charleston. He was preceded in death by one niece, Jennifer Edgemon; father and mother, Earl T. Wade and Marchie McAllister Wade.
He is survived by his wife Carlotta Jones Wade, Cleveland; one daughter, Robin and Charles Kittell, Cleveland; one brother, Edward Wade and one half brother, Don Wade, both of Cleveland; four sisters, Sue Simmons, Ooltewah, Barbara Dale, Cleveland, Patricia Brock, Cleveland, and Cindy Ballard, McDonald; four grandchildren, Christoper Kinder, Emily Kinder, Charlie Kittell and Samantha Kittell; several nieces and nephews; mother in law and father in law, Carl and Mary Ellen Jones, Benton, Tn.; and special brother in law and sister in law, Roy and Ruth Blackwell and Lisa Jones and Tracy Hall.
Services will be held Wednesday, at 1 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Boggess officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Roy Blackwell, Tracy Hall, Mike Brown, Donnie Slaughter, Doug Slaughter and Bob Lawson serving as pallbearers.
