Demetrias "Buda" LaShaun Johnson, 24, of Chattanooga, died on July 18, 2008 in a local hospital.
She was a 2006 graduate from Brainerd High.
Survivors include her mother, Evelina Bush (Reginald Knight); father Alonzo (Jacqueline) Johnson Sr.; brothers, Kelly L. Byrd III, Orlando Johnson, Alonzo Russell, Sebastian Johnson, Alonzo Johnson Jr. and Bryant Johnson; nephew, Anthony Markel Byrd; aunts, Ann Brown Cox, Alice (Dee) Carroll, Ellen Johnson, Emma Long (Steven Grier), Yvonne Daniels, Linda Slayton George Lindsey), Patricia Robinson (Samuel Coleman), Louvina Smith (Roy Hinton) and Lucille Johnson of Chattanooga; uncles, Thomas Simpson, Reuben Simpson (Michelle Sligh), Darryl Simpson Willingham, Seattle, Wa., and Richard Johnson, Austin, Tx.; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at Miracle M.B. Church with Rev. Kelvert Scruggs officiating.
She will lie in state after noon on Wednesday in the Reuben Strickland Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
