Six-Run Ninth Lifts Lookouts To Win Over Mobile Saturday, 10-4

MOBILE, Ala. – After battling in three straight one-run contests, the Chattanooga Lookouts beat the Mobile BayBears at Hank Aaron Stadium Saturday,10-4.

Starting pitcher Jordan Smith (2-4) had one of his best outings of the season. He worked six innings for the Lookouts while limiting the BayBears to just a run on five hits.

A six-run ninth inning sunk the BayBears as the Lookouts pulled away with a Sean Henry two-run homer and run-scoring singles by Tonys
Gutierrez, Eric Eymann and Drew Stubbs.

Chris Valaika smacked a two-run double while Stubbs singled home Valaika to make it 4-0 Lookouts.

Lookouts Highlights

- Sean Henry went 2-5 with a HR (9) and 2 RBI.
- Tonys Gutierrez went 3-4 with a double, walk, RBI and 3 runs.
- Chris Valaika went 4-5 with a double, 2 runs and 2 RBI.
- Drew Stubbs went 2-2 with 3 RBI, a run and 3 walks.
- Jordan Smith struck out 7 and walked 1 in 6 innings and allowed a run.

The rubber game will be played Sunday. Monday is an off-day. The Lookouts open at home Tuesday night.
