Vietnam Veteran Was Longtime Employee At Rossville Mills

James “Jimmy” M. Morgan, 60, of Chattanooga, died on July 18, 2008 at a local hospital.
He was a member of The Church of God of The Union Assembly for over 50 years and a deacon for over 25 years. He was an employee with the Rossville Mills for 27 years.
Jimmy was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. Jimmy loved landscaping and furthered his education specializing in horticulture.
He was preceded in death by his father, George A. Morgan, son, Travis Morgan, sister, Mary Jo Hamilton, brother Archie Morgan, sister-in-law, Linda Morgan, niece, Pam Hamilton.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Morgan; mother, Edith Morgan, of Summerville, Ga.; sons, Jay (Kari) Morgan of East Ridge, Trevor Morgan and Natiel Morgan of Chattanooga; daughters, Candace Morgan of Chattanooga, McKala (Spencer) Lawhorn of Ringgold, Ga.; brother, George (Jennifer) Morgan of Chattanooga; sister, Donna (Charlie) Long of Summerville, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Church of God of The Union Assembly with Brothers Pratt Hughes and Jeff Wilson officiating. The interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
