A positive note about East Ridge. In January of this year, the East Ridge Merchants Association became an official organization in East Ridge, Tn. We are taking a positive approach to the promotion of our city through a variety of means. We understand that as a unique city we need to take a positive and direct approach to promoting East Ridge.
We have already started providing maps to our local motels promoting our businesses, increasing tax revenues.
We now have a website that is operational, but still under construction (ermaonline.org). Our goal is to work together with all areas of our community, citizens, businesses, churches, civic organizations and our schools. We are the second largest city in Hamilton County and very strategically located.
Many businesses have already started promoting the address of East Ridge. Our membership is bumping close to 70 and growing. A lot of things can happen when you have something exciting to share.
We meet the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the East Ridge Convention Center (next to the East Ridge Retirement Center).
We invite any citizen, business, church lLeader, school representative or civic organization who would like to be part of this exciting time in East Ridge to come and visit with us Monday night, July 21, at 6:30 p.m.
