First Baptist Church Downtown Chattanooga, Golden Gateway, will offer the ACDA Ecumenical Service on Friday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. It will be free and open to the public.
The Tennessee Chapter of American Choral Directors Association has announced its summer conference in July.
As part of the ACDA conference, there will be an ecumenical service featuring two local choirs: The Chattanooga Choral Society for the Preservation of African American Song under the direction of Roland Carter, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Master Chorale under the direction of Dr Kevin Ford. Both choirs feature community members from the greater Chattanooga area.
