King, Jack Edward

Jack Edward King, 63, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Thursday, May 15, 2008.

He was born in Chattanooga, to the late William Edward King and Lizzie Mae Sprouse King.

He was a former mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, especially building engines for race cars. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Chattanooga.

He had resided most of his life in the Chattanooga-Northwest Georgia area.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Nixon; brothers, Johnny and Robert King.

He is survived by his wife of 47, Lynda Jane White King of Rossville; daughter and son-in-law, Jacquelyn and Dennis Bell of Chattanooga; sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Andrea King of Chattanooga, Monte and Sheree King of Lakeland, Fl.; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruby Shoemake of Warren, Mi., Rose and David Schmid of Jackson, Tn.; grandchildren, Dennis Bell II of Chattanooga, Decima and Joshua Washington of Huntsville, Al.; great-grandsons, Jaron Bell and Dennis Bell III; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, at 1 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Trivette officiating.

Arrangements are by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes, Fort Oglethorpe.
