Billie R. Murphy, 80, of Lakeview, died on Friday, May 16, 2008 at a local hospital.
She was a native of Trenton, Ga., and had lived most of her life in Lakeview where she was a member of the Lakeview First Baptist Church and the Lakeview Lion’s Club. She had worked in the family business at South Market Auto Parts for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Southard; parents, Eugene and Nellie Usry; and three brothers, Bud, Jack, and James Usry.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Brenda and Mike Pepper of St. Thomas, Kenneth and Renee’ Murphy of Acworth, Ga., and Patricia and Steve Morgan of Chattanooga; three sisters, Elizabeth Bean of Trion, Ga., Margaret Smith of Trenton, and Wynell Saylors of Chattanooga; two brothers, Bob and Carl Usry, both of Trenton; three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Norman Markle officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
