Elbert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Richard Dirisio of Soddy Daisy, Tn.; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Jennifer Welch of Chatsworth; brother, Franky Welch of Dalton; sisters, Cleo Stamey of Michigan, Mary Mae Gobal of Dalton, Joanne Bennett and Magdalene Cross both of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Timothy, Britany, Jennifer, Aleasha, Kiera and Chandler; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. James Whitmore officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday after 5 p.m.
