The Tennessee Multicultural Chamber of Commerce will host their first annual Business Loan Day on Wednesday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Center (formerly the Central City Complex) located at 730 M. L. King Blvd.
“The Tennessee Multicultural Chamber is always looking for ways to assist small emerging business with the tools they need to grow their business,” said TMCC Pressident and CEO Sherrie Gilchrist. “Business Loan Day is designed to assist entrepreneurs build relationships with lenders while learning about the many choices available to assist them with their business/financial needs. Experts from within the Chattanooga community will be available to provide assistance in Business Plan Development, Legal Services, and Bid Preparation technique, all of which required to launch and maintain a successful business. By providing a “one-stop” shop approach we hope that we are making the idea of entrepreneurship less of a dream and more of a reality for people within all sectors of the Chattanooga community.” Financial institutions that have agreed to participate during Business Loan Day include:

The workshop is intended for small businesses, woman-owned, minority-owned and rural businesses interested in starting or expanded a business.
Lendors participating include Capital Knowledge Group, Chattanooga Community Development Financial Institution, Chattanooga Opportunity Fund, Cohutta Banking of Tennessee, Cornerstone Bank , Express Loans, First Tennessee, Regions Bank, Small Minority Owned Business, Southeast Women’s Business Center, Suntrust, Tennessee Small Business Development Center, Tennessee Valley FCU and the U.
