A blood and bone marrow drive has been scheduled for May 16 for Heidi Maddox. Heidi has been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia and is in need of a bone marrow transplant. At this time she does not have a match.
To be tested for a match just involves a swab of the inside of your cheek. The drive will be set up a Avondale Headstart on Ocoee Street from 12:30-5 p.m.
You may also donate at Blood Assurance on 4th Street, by giving Heidi's name for processing.
