Area diamonds will be busy on Monday with 12 baseball and 12 softball teams fighting for a spot in region finals on Wednesday.
Monday's semifinals are must wins as only the top two teams will advance to region finals. Region champions and runners up will advance to sectional play on Friday. Champions will play host to sectionals and runners-up will have to travel.
Softball teams that are hosting games are Rhea County, Ooltewah, Sweetwater, Hixson, Grace and Whitwell.
Baseball teams hosting games are Bradley Central, Red Bank, McMinn Central, Marion County, Grace and Lookout Valley.
