Freddie Marie Smith, 91, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga died on Friday May 9, 2008 in Cartersville, Ga.
She had retired from the Department of Transportation State of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Smith and a daughter, Joan Pope.
She is survived by her daughter, Venia Etta McJunkin, Cartersville, Ga.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday at Forest Hills Cemetery with Rev. Rick Spell officiating.
