Bernice Ellison, 63, died on Friday, May 9, 2008, at a local health care facility.
She was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area.
Mrs. Ellison was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Lee Gribble and Benny Ellison; and her brother, Junior Bynum.
She is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randy and Rena Gribble and Scott Gribble, all of Rossville; six grandchildren, Tara Painter, Randy and Trisha Gribble II, Chilyn, Kassie, Arron and Allen Gribble; great-grandchildren, Sydnee Painter and Dylan Gribble; two sisters, Stella (Gene) Galloway and Lucille (Johnny) Sanders; two brothers, Gordon (Mary) Bynum and Donald (Carol) Bynum.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the South Crest Chapel with the Rev. Billy Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, with Keith Thacker, Jimmy Sanders, Randy Gribble II, Arron Gribble, Bobby Painter and Benson Greene serving as pallbearers.
