Eddie Mills Jr., 79, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, May 2, 2008, in a local health care facility.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mills; father, Eddie Mills Sr.; and mother, Ola Andrews.
He is survived by his daughter, Annie Mills; sisters, Georgia Craighead, of Chattanooga, and Ada Andrews, of Atlanta; brothers, Charlie Andrews, of Chattanooga, and John Andrews, of Atlanta; uncles, Charlie and Fred Bolton; aunts, Nancy Howard and Janie Weatherspoon, all of Lincolnton, Ga.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Tucker officiating. Burial will be on Monday at 10 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The body will lie in state on Friday after noon at the funeral home.
