A Pleasant Lunch At The Yellow Deli
posted May 8, 2008

After reading all the comments both pro and con about the Yellow Deli, my brother and I decided to try it today for lunch. I did not live in Chattanooga when it was here previously so wanted to see what all the commotion was about.

The interior is very well done with nice relaxing music. Our server, a beautiful young lady, took our order promptly and the service was great. I had the chicken breast sandwich with cheddar cheese and chips. It was a great sandwich and a very comfortable atmosphere. At no time during the meal were we ever asked anything except about the food and service. In fact we were somewhat disappointed that no one tried to convert us.

I should say in the interest of full disclosure that I have known Ed Wiseman for 50 years, as we went to Normal Park, Northside, City and UT together. However, I have only seen him once in the past 30 years and have no interest whatever in the restaurant or their community. I was hoping to see him today, but he was out of town.
