Eady, Robert L. posted May 8, 2008
Robert was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church, having served as a Sunday school teacher and a member of Church Club 10. He retired from the Chattanooga Recreation Department. Robert served in the United States Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sisters. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Celia R. Eady; sons, Robert L. (Karen) Eady, Jr of Ellenwood, Ga., and Richard L. Eady; daughters, Aleeca Lynne, Vicky E. Eady and Donna (Ronald) Malcolm; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Homegoing services will be held on Monday at 12 p.m. at Second Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul A. McDaniel officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. His body will lie in state after 12 p.m. on Sunday, and the family will receive friends will 6-7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home. |
