Mr. Melford Lee Payne, 65, of Summerville, Ga. died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Hutcheson Medical Center.
Mr. Payne was born August 30, 1942 in Wetumpka, Ala., the son of the late Herbert and Vivieenn Warren Payne.
Mr. Payne is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Terry Lee & Lela Payne; daughter, Mary Cillinan, all of Fla.; brother, Kenneth Payne, Summerville, Ga.; sisters, Virgie Mae Buffington, Trenton, Ga., Gwendlyn Thompson, LaFayette, Ga., and Johnnie Lewis, Summerville, Ga.
Mr. Payne will be cremated.
