Julian Kaufman brought the world-leading franchise in the fitness industry, Fitness Together, to Chattanooga five years ago and opened on Frazier Avenue. Success was immediate. Two and a half years ago he opened a second location on Gunbarrel Road.
Rachel Burke of Miami, who has been the lead trainer at the Gunbarrel location, has purchased the Gunbarrel franchise from Mr. Kaufman. Not only is she a certified and personal trainer, but she comes with years of experience in the fitness industry as she led marketing and sale for LA Fitness in Miami.
Her experience also includes nutritional counseling at Physicians Weight Loss Center in Miami.
Ms. Burke brings nine years of professional experience in the fitness industry and a lifetime of commitment to fitness and healthy living which included participation in tennis, multiple sports, bodybuilding, and for fun, roller blading.
Ms. Burke was drawn to Fitness Together because of its commitment to focusing on health and quality of rather than the fitness industries obsession with vanity and sex appeal.
Mr. Kaufman and Ms. Burke will continue to partner as Fitness Together – Chattanooga bringing a philosophy that values the whole person spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, relationally and physically.
Fitness Together specializes in one-on-one personal training. All training is completed in a private training suite; no waiting on equipment, no distractions, no stares. Individualized exercise programs are developed for each client based on their needs whether a 12-year-old diabetic, 43-year-old busy professional, 37-year-old stay at home mom, or 82-year-old with balance issues.
Supportive nutrition programs are developed as well. All programs are based on a complete fitness assessment. All are invited to experience a complimentary session of training.
