Hampton, Helen Hunton
Elementary Teacher At St. Nicholas For Many Years

Helen Hunton Hampton, 82, lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in a local hospital.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Mrs. Hampton taught elementary education at St. Nicholas for many years.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Hampton.

She is survived by her two sons, Peter Hampton and Andrew Hampton, both of Signal Mountain.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McKamey Animal Shelter.

Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace.
