Erlanger Marketing & Public Relations Wins 15 Local, State And National Awards

Erlanger Health System Marketing & Public Relations has received 15 local, state and national awards for advertising and marketing materials created in 2007. Creative direction of Erlanger marketing efforts is generated in-house without the employment of an advertising or marketing firm. The department has won 104 such awards since 2002.

On March 1, the Chattanooga Advertising Federation presented Erlanger with an “ADDY Certificate of Excellence” for the newspaper advertisement “Miracles on 3rd Street.”

On April 17, the Tennessee Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations held their annual “Prism Award” ceremonies in Memphis, Tennessee. Two awards were available in each category, with the “Prism” recognized as first place, and a citation as second. Erlanger Health System received seven awards:
Prism – Erlanger Magazine – external publication
Prism – “Bids for Kids” - poster
Prism – “President Bush visit” – media relations
Citation – “Children’s Hospital Oncology” – brochure
Citation – “Living with Leukemia” – writing
Citation – “What’s Up, Doc?” – mailer
Citation – “We’re in Your Neighborhood” – mailer

On April 29, the Healthcare Marketing Report, the nation’s leading publication covering health marketing, announced the winners of their 25th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. Erlanger received:
Bronze Award – “Miracles on 3rd Street” – newspaper advertisement
Bronze Award – Erlanger Magazine – external publication
Merit Award – “Safe & Sound Kids’ Fair” – special event
Merit Award – “Children’s Hospital Oncology” – brochure

On May 5, Erlanger Health System was notified that their advertising and marketing efforts had received three Aster Awards, a national program allowing healthcare organizations and advertising agencies to compete against similarly sized competitors from across the nation. Erlanger received:
Gold – “Miracles on 3rd Street” – newspaper advertisement
Gold – “Safe & Sound Kids’ Fair” – service line marketing (children’s)
Bronze - Erlanger Magazine – magazine
