The Tennessee Crush is a member of the USFL, a Minor League Development Program for players trying to reach different levels of professional football.
Marquis Griffin, #4 of the Crush, was invited to the Chicago Rush Evaluation Camp. Griffin has been with the Tennessee Pioneers and has committed to the new Tennessee Crush 2008 season. He graduated from Brainerd High School and was chosen All-City and All-State Receiver in 1998. He was chosen Player of the game four times during the 2007 season with the Pioneers and was recently chosen by the Minor Football League as an All American player.
Griffin played college ball at UT Martin and Arena ball with the Tennessee River Sharks and is looking for an opportunity to advance his career in football.
This is the first-ever pro football evaluation camp offered by the Chicago Rush. It will be held on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Gus Purcell Stadium in Charlotte. Nstone Sports/Tennessee Crush is sponsoring Griffin in his endeavor to further his football career by providing training at D1 Sports and sponsoring his trip to Charlotte.
